Since the start of the Young Energy Europe project, a total of 339 Energy Scouts from 135 companies have been trained and certified. A target number of 240 scouts was planned, which was clearly exceeded. This speaks not only for the attractiveness of the training, but also for the need for qualification measures in this area. The Scouts designed 143 efficiency projects with considerable saving potentials, most of them in the areas of compressed air and lighting, but also photovoltaics, system optimization and water consumption played a major role.
