23 future Energy Scouts participated in the first of five workshops organized by the German-Bulgarian Chamber for Commerce and Industry on June 21 and 22, in Sofia and Plovdiv. Asked about the reasons for their interest in energy and resource efficiency the participants named their commitment for climate protection in companies and a strong desire to actively participate in this process.
Following an introduction with two expert trainers the participants voiced their expectations and discussed first topics. Besides refreshing communication and presentation methods, the afternoon program included an introduction to measurement tools and test measurements with a thermographic camera and a power meter.
Now the participants will start to work on practical energy efficiency projects in their companies, which will be put into practice alongside the workshops. The expert trainers will be available for advice and meet the groups again for the next workshop in September.
