On March 19th and 20th the first Energy Scout training courses of the year were held in Bulgaria. On four subsequent dates, around 30 young employees from different companies will qualify as Energy Scouts until summer. In their companies, they will then work in teams to design and implement energy efficiency projects.
Dr. Krassimira Dimitrova of Young Energy Europe opened the event by presenting the concept and projects of the past year. Raising awareness for climate protection in companies is an important precondition for good project results. What opportunities are associated with energy and resource efficiency for committed companies? With which challenges will the companies, their customers or markets face and how can the Energy Scouts contribute? These are perfect questions for further thinking.
On the first day of training, the Scouts also practiced presentation techniques, as they have to convince not only their management but also an expert jury of their project ideas during the course of the year. For this purpose, an individual coaching will take place before the competition in autumn.
