German Chambers of Commerce Abroad in six European countries offer Energy Scout qualification for the first time

This fall, young professionals in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Montenegro and North Macedonia will be able to complete the popular Energy Scout qualification for the first time. The training courses will also continue to be offered in Poland, Slovakia, Croatia and Serbia. The community of European Energy Scouts, which already includes 1,100 people, is set to grow by at least 685 more qualified Energy Scouts by March 2027.

The AHKs are reliable partners in the development of the training program. While the countries Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania are supported by the AHK Baltic States, the German-Serbian Chamber of Commerce acts as a partner in Serbia and Montenegro. The delegations of German business in Bosnia-Herzegovina and North Macedonia are the contact partners for their respective countries.

The training kick-off for this year’s class of Energy Scouts took place in Slovakia in mid-June. The training courses covered a wide range of topics from climate protection in companies to the basics of energy efficiency, the circular economy as well as waste and water management. The Energy Scouts were able to see the practical application of these topics directly at the Reuse Centrum KOLO in Bratislava and at the Einpark Offices, where the training courses were held.
