At the end of August the prospective Energy Scouts in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, were active again! They used the measuring instruments in the production halls of Mexon OOD, a leading company for cleansing agents in Bulgaria.
The result are complete temperature profiles of the gas boilers and pipelines which indicate a need for optimization. Next, the scouts will check the seals of the boilers and pipes for tightness and replace them if necessary. This process has two advantages: new seals will reduce the consumption of natural gas and the production halls heat up less so electricity can be saved in the air-conditioning system.
