Young Energy Europe and #DigitalSolidarityGR offer climate protection webinar for Greek companies

As part of the DigitalSolidarityGR initiative and under the hashtag of the same name, the Greek Ministry of Digital Administration offers a platform created during the Corona crisis, on which companies and organizations upload free digital offers, including webinars.

The Young Energy Europe project managers from the German-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI Greece) were among the first to offer a webinar on the website. While the content is usually taught exclusively to Energy Scouts from Greek companies, they made the presentation available to a larger group of participants on April 8th during a two-hour webinar. Despite the short preparation time, the response was great: more than 40 people took part, from trainees to students to company experts.

The webinar addressed the following topics: What is climate change and what are the consequences of human influence on the global climate? How important is climate protection for businesses? How can companies save costs for energy and resources while protecting the environment at the same time? What international and national climate protection initiatives exist and who is supporting investments in these areas? What can we do on a private level?

The positive feedback encourages Young Energy Europe to create more digital trainings in the future, in order to reach a much broader audience in companies in the participating countries.
